"Swift"

here for his pedigree.

Swift Terms is a 1998 Grey
Thorougbhred gelding. He raced only in claiming races until retired because he
was too slow.
His true love is jumping. His owner
has had him for about 8 years now and has come a long way with him.
Unfortunately she doesn’t have a ton of ribbons to show for it because her
wallet was thin. She also did not have the confidence to take him to the
top. She took him to a few schooling events in the first years of ownership and
he always went clean in the stadium and cross country but not so good with the
dressage side.
She then moved to schooling
jumpers with him and he excelled with reds, blues, reserve champion and grand
champion. He has also been to many paper/hunter chases and paces. When money
became and even bigger issue and the time was limited, she concentrated on their
weakness, dressage. His flat work is much better now and she has discovered so
much more and understands him in a new level.

He does
get hock injections, over the past 2 ˝ years he has had two. It was just
done at the beginning of August 2010 by Dr. Riddle in Cecil County. It
makes him much more comfortable and with the athlete he is it shouldn’t be
missed. His owner feels the least she can do is make him comfortable.
Swift has never had any soundness issues with him and no injuries.
This is
not a horse for a beginner rider. He needs an intermediate to advanced rider
because of his great sensitivity. The owner is looking for a home
with someone who wants to move up in the levels because this horse can
definitely take them there. He stands only 15.1 or 15.2 but don’t be fooled by
his size. He will jump anyone out of the tack and has a canter so uphill and
powerful you feel like you are on a 17 hand horse that can jump the moon.

"Raven"
his pedigree.

Raven is a 4 yr old unraced Thoroughbred
gelding.
He 15.2 and has been off the track since
November 2009.
Raven has shown much athleticism on the track
as well as when first turned out. The current owner really thinks this horse can
jump. She's been on him but have not put any “real” time into him. He does have
front shoes to protect his feet.

Raven stands 15.2 hands. She has jumped
on him bareback with a halter, ridden him out in the fields under tack and he
just needs miles. She thought he would be a “do over” but he has really settled
into being a farm horse now and will love being in a program with someone. He is
ready to go and loves attention. She thinks this horse has a lot of potential.
Raven is located in
West Friendship,
Maryland. He is offered for $2,500.

"Kissy"
Click here to see her pedigree.

Peanut Butter Kiss is
a three year old Thoroughbred filly.
Her trainer/owner has had her since she was a yearling, broke her, and raced her
four times. She did crack her shin in her first start as a 2 y/o but then we did
shockwave and ran her three times since then (in fairly quick succession). She
is 100% sound. She's raced on the dirt, and the last start was on the turf. She
showed no desire to be a racehorse. So... she gets to move on to a new
career.
She is a beautiful floaty mover, and Katie had a professional dressage trainer
pick her out as a yearling from the field and say she would make a great upper
level prospect.
She stands 16.1 or so, and is more than likely not done growing yet. Her name is
She is a candy addict. If she hears the crinkle of a wrapper she is all ears.

Being that Katie broke her, she should not be hard to retrain, since she trains
most of my youngsters as you would a young dressage horse. However, she is a lot
of horse. She would be most suitable for an experienced rider looking for an
upper level event/dressage/jumper. She is very athletic, and very capable of
what will be needed for the upper levels. She will need a lot of focus and
patience though. Her sire is Fantasticat, which makes her a Storm Cat filly- you
know their temperaments I'm sure.
Kissy is located in
Damascus, Maryland and is
offered for sale at $1,200. For more information, please contact me.
